Overview
This page explains how to delete your Recevia.AI account and the data associated with it. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You can delete your account directly inside the app, or request deletion by email if you can no longer access the app.
Delete your account from inside the app
The fastest way to delete your account is from the Recevia.AI app on your phone:
- Open the Recevia.AI app and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to the Danger Zone at the bottom.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm your identity by entering your exact account email address — or, if you signed up with a phone number, your exact phone number.
- Tap Delete Forever and confirm the final prompt.
Your account and its associated data are then permanently deleted right away, and you are signed out.
Request deletion by email
If you can no longer sign in to the app, you can ask us to delete your account for you:
- Email info@recevia.ai from the email address on your account, with the subject line "Delete my account."
- Include the email address or phone number associated with your Recevia.AI account so we can verify your identity.
We will verify your request and permanently delete your account and associated data, then confirm by email — typically within a few business days and no later than 30 days from your request.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the data tied to it, including:
- Your profile and account login
- Any organization you own and everything inside it (knowledge base, business settings, and related records)
- Your membership in any other organizations
- AI memory and preferences
- AI query history and chat sessions
- Email and text message drafts
- Notifications and push notification tokens
- Connected calendar tokens and resources
- Human-in-the-loop responder records linked to your account
If you only belong to an organization owned by someone else, deleting your account removes you from that organization but does not delete the organization itself.
What we may keep
Even after your account is deleted, we may retain a limited set of records where we are legally required to do so:
- Billing and payment records — basic transaction and invoice records (held by us and by our payment processor, Stripe) are kept as required by tax, accounting, and financial-reporting laws.
- Records required by law — anything we are otherwise legally obligated to retain.
These records do not include your operational app content (calls, contacts, AI memory, drafts, and the other items listed above), which is deleted as described. Any retained data that is not subject to a legal hold is removed within 90 days.
